Of Serenity #WDYS

(Turn on music at the bottom for the full experience)

On icy morns
When the sun barely crests the ridgetop
The birds play their morning melody
Sweet siren song
My mountain muse

Those tealy hues are calling
Toe rippled water
Glancing gracefully
Skirting polar depths
Humbled smile looking up

Alone, sweet cabin,
To live by Apollo’s dial
Basking in beauty
So pure it is a crime not to inhale
Crisp sinus piercing wind
Just reveling my gentle forest sunrise

A steel grey wants to play
I ache to oil my moments
For canvas’ eternity
As if capturing a place in peace
Is proof
Of this still calm existence

Troubles melt
And days freeze
In the name
Of Serenity

In response to Sadje’s What Do You See? prompt #WDYS; inspiring and promoting countless amazing artists with a sense of community where our souls see such different things in the same image, and our variation is beautiful.
